Jay Z dedicates a song to daughter Blue Ivy Carter
Following the birth of Jay Z and Beyonce's first baby daughter 'Blue Ivy Carter' on 7th January, the 42 year old rapper has dedicated his new track "Glory" to their new arrival.

The hip-hop star - whose real name is Shawn Carter, posted the new track on his website where he raps the lyrics;

"The most amazing feeling I feel, words can't describe what I'm feeling for real / Baby, I paint the sky blue, my greatest creation was you.

"You're the child of destiny / you're the child of my destiny / you're my child with the child from Destiny's Child."

Jay Z was said to be at his wife Beyonce's side throughout the labour and birth, a planned Caesarean section on Saturday, and the couple are reported to have booked out the entire fourth floor of New York's Lenox Hill Hospital.

Jay Z is the latest in a long list of global musical stars that have written and dedicated songs their children. A few of which we've listed below;
