Direct2Mum are proud to start hosting baby yoga in our new Brighouse store!

On Tuesday the 17th of January we offered a free taster session by Nicola from Mini Me Time and everyone who attended booked onto a five week course starting after the February half term. In the class the babies learned baby yoga routines to nursery rhymes and songs, making it fun and engaging for both baby's and their mummy's!

The Benefits of Baby Yoga can include:

* Aiding the digestive system to help reduce the discomfort of colic, wind and constipation
* Helps with balance, co-ordination and motor skills
* Strengthens babies’ bodies and develops their reflexes
* Promotes better sleep
* Stimulates the brain and aids brain development
* The postures improve the flexibility of the spine and joints, helps circulation and regulates the metabolism
* Aids bonding, trust and social interaction
* Develops physical confidence and spatial awareness for baby
* Strengthens and improves muscle tone
* Improves your physical well-being as the session includes relaxation, breathing and stretching exercises for you which you can do with baby.
